The L.R. Scarborough College at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, formerly known as the College at Southwestern, is the fully accredited baccalaureate Liberal Arts college at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. The College offers the Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Biblical Studies as well as four bachelor's degrees in music.[1] The Bachelor of Arts in Humanities is a 125 credit hour degree program in the classical tradition, focusing on the Bible and the history of ideas. Students can choose between several degree concentrations: Apologetics, Church and Family Ministries, Missions, Music, and Philosophy. Scarborough College also offers three minors in Apologetics, Missions, and Philosophy.[2]

D. Jeffrey Bingham has been appointed interim president until the 9th seminary president is selected.[3]

Student life at Southwestern includes campus-wide chapel two times a week, an on-campus grill and coffee house in the Naylor Student Center, a Recreation Center (featuring a pool, indoor basketball court, aerobic and weight rooms, indoor racquetball courts, intramural sports, and karate and swimming classes), The Riley Conference and Guest Housing Center, student organizations, and mission and evangelism trips.[4] Southwestern has an on-campus medical clinic.[5]

On April 12, 2017, the college was officially renamed The L.R. Scarborough College at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in honor of Lee Rutland Scarborough who served as the second seminary President of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.[6]
