Kyle Murphy (born December 11, 1992) is an American soccer player who currently plays for San Antonio FC in the United Soccer League.

Career

Youth and College

Murphy played five years of college soccer at Clemson University between 2011 and 2015, including a red-shirted year in 2011.[1] As a member of the team ranked #2 in the Nation in NCAA Division 1 Men’s Soccer in 2015, and winning the 2014 ACC Men’s Soccer Tournament Championship, Murphy ended his collegiate career with Clemson as a National Championship Finalist playing as a forward in the 2015 Men’s Soccer National Championship. In 2016, Kyle Murphy was recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a 2016 NSCA All-American Strength & Conditioning Athlete of the Year. Playing as a Forward, Kyle was named to the 2015 ACC All-Tournament Team, was selected to the 2015 National Team of the Week and in 2014, was named ACC Player of the Week. Murphy finished his 2015 collegiate season as a forward ranked 6th in the ACC in total goals and 10th in the ACC in total points. Academically, Kyle Murphy graduated from Clemson University with a degree in PRTM/Sports Management attaining President’s List and Dean’s List recognition. In 2015, Murphy was selected to the 2015 All-ACC Academic Team Men’s Soccer. Clemson Men’s Soccer: 2015-2011 (60 appearances)

Professional
