Kyle James Cozad is an aviator and officer in the United States Navy.[1][2][3] He currently serves as commanding officer of the Naval Education and Training Command.[4]

He was the commandant of Joint Task Force Guantanamo from July 2014 to June 2015.[1] Following his Guantanamo assignment Cozad took command of Naval Air Station Whidbey.[5]

Education

Cozad attended the United States Naval Academy, graduating with a bachelor's degree and ensign's commission in 1985.[6][7]
