Krzysztof Pietroszek is a Polish/Canadian filmmaker[1], game designer, and computer scientist[2] serving as tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Film and Media Arts Division of the School of Communication at American University, and Program Director of Graduate Game Programs at AU Game Lab.[3]

His research and art projects involve persuasive virtual and augmented reality, games for change, human-computer interaction[4], interactive narrative and montage in virtual (VR), augmented (AR)[5], and mixed reality.[6][7] As a filmmaker, Krzysztof produced a Canadian feature Waiting for Summer and directed a number of short films.

Biography

Krzysztof Pietroszek received his M.F.A. in Film from York University, M.A. in Communication Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University, and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. He is married and has three sons.
