Kryptonesticus is a spider genus in the family Nesticidae.[1] Its species are found in Europe, though one speciesKryptonesticus eremita has been introduced to New Zealand.[2] Excepting K. eremita, Kryptonesticus species have very restricted ranges.[3]

Seven of its eight speciesthe exception being type species Kryptonesticus deelemanaewere transferred from Nesticus.[3]
