Krista Sager

Krista Sager (nee Krista Schuller; born 28 July 1953) is a German politician of the Alliance 90/The Greens party and was a member of the Bundestag, the German parliament, from 2002 to 2013.

Sager was born in Bremen. She has been a member of her party since 1983. From 1997 to 2001 she was Second Mayor of Hamburg and Senator for Science, Research and Equality of the city. Along with Katrin Göring-Eckardt she was chair of the parliamentary group of Alliance 90/The Greens in the Bundestag from 2002 to 2005. From 2005 to 2009 she served as deputy chair of the parliamentary group of her party.[1][2][3]
