Krimo Salem (born 1954) is an American computer scientist, entrepreneur. Salem is founder of If & Then Inc. and the co-creator of the Video Conference Call Software under the name of One Touch, which was later renamed to WebEx[1][2][3] and merged with Cisco Systems in 2007.[4]

Biography

Born in 1954 he is founder of If and then inc.[3] His ethnicity is North African, Krimo the co-creator of the Video Conference Call Software under the name of One Touch WebEx which was later renamed to WebEx with Subrah Iyar and Min Zhu.[5][6] While Working at ActiveTouch Krimo changed the application of Active touch software from remote access application to conferencing software, that actually became WebEx[7]

Early life and career

Salem was the founder of If & Then, Inc., a California company which developed innovative business eco-intelligence software for industry, global enterprises, and governments. Salem was also the Chief Information Officer at IntelliSync (acquired by Nokia),[8] where he served as a strategic advisor and provided key direction for IntelliSync's shift from a desktop-based software company to an enterprise and internet-based company. Salem was the Director of Network Services at Electronic Arts (EA) with responsibilities that spanned four continents.[9] At EA, Salem was responsible for engineering one of the world's first corporate intranet systems. For this accomplishment, Salem was recognized and featured in several magazines and publications like Fortune, CIO Magazine, Info World and Network World.[3][7]
