Krea University is a university in Sricity in Andhra Pradesh. Permission has been sought from the University Grants Commission. It will initially run from the IFMR campus and later move to its own campus by 2020. It is seen as a fast-moving newcomer to the landscape of prestigious Indian higher education. Krea was considered a likely finalist to make the central government's Institutes of Eminence.[1][2][3][4]

Admissions

Krea University utilizes holistic review to consider multiple factors in selecting their class of top students. Admission is based on class 10 and class 12 marks, pre-meditated and on-the-fly essays and an interview with professors. Co-curricular projects and activities, as well as reference letters are also considered in selecting the small incoming class of just over 100 talented students.

Krea does not have its own entrance test, but encourages submission of SAT scores for applicants that have them. The SAT is not mandatory, and all meritorious candidates inside and outside India will be considered.
