Kratka Forma – The International Festival of Short Films

The Kratka Forma is a leading short film festival in the European region. The festival has served as an influential platform for European film makers and talent at an international level, by spearheading the cinema movement for short films in the European region.

Overview

Kratka Forma is a not-for-profit cultural event, presented and organized by the Cultural Centre Gornji Milanovoac, Gornji Milanovac, the Republic of Serbia.[1][2] The festival is held every second year in Gornji Milanovac, Serbia.[3] The film festival is a manifestation that by its programme cherishes and promotes artistic values of the contemporary film creation. The main aim of the festival is to encourage short film creation as well as film creations by children and the young.

The 3rd Kratka Forma was held in 2015. Every year Kratka Forma presents new and exciting cinema from the European region and beyond, introducing audiences to new talent and original and distinctive filmmaking. The next Kratka Forma will be held in 2017.[4][5]

Kratka Forma 2015

The 3rd Kratka Forma was held from 19 September 2015 to 27 September 2015. The festival showcased over 206 short films from 42 countries which included a plethora of world premiers.[6]

Kratka Forma 2013

In 2013, Kratka Forma screened a line-up of 143 short films from around the world. The international jury for Mini, Midi and Micro Film consisted of Vera Schmidt, Narcisa Darijević Marković and Dragomir Zupanc. The international jury for films created by children and the youth consisted of Duško Popović, Ivana Vesković and Miodrag J. Novaković.[7]

Kratka Forma 2011

In 2011, Kratka Forma screened a line-up of 84 short films from around the world. The jury consisted of Snežana Trstenjak, Rajko Petrović, Radoy Nikolov, Igor M. Toholj and Krunoslav Jović.[8]
