Kothagudem Thermal Power Station is located at Paloncha in Telangana, India. The power plant has an installed capacity of 1,720 MW with 11 units in operation(1*60MW(A station 3rd unit) unit under permanent shut down).[1] It is one of the coal based power plants of Telangana Power Generation Corporation Limited (TSGENCO)
