Kokki (English: The Hook) is a Tamil language action film written and directed by Prabhu Solomon. It starred Karan, Pooja Gandhi and Kota Srinivasa Rao in the lead roles. The film had a successful run at the box office.

Critical response

indiaglitz.com stating that "Karan as Kokki is impressive. He has not just shed his weight for playing the character but also underplayed his role. His body language and mannerisms deserve a special mention. Debutant Sanjana from Kolkata, playing Kokki's ladylove, has given a best performance. Happy that Kollywood has got a girl who can really perform on the screen.[3]
