"Koi" (恋) is a song by Japanese recording artist Gen Hoshino. It was released on 5 October 2016.[1] The song was commercially successful, reaching number-one for 11 non-consecutive weeks on the Billboard Japan Hot 100,[2] which reached Japan's Billboard Year-End Hot 100 singles of 2017[3][4] first place. It was also number-two on the Oricon Singles Chart, with 102,326 copies sold.[5] It received a digital download song certification of Million (Diamond) from the Recording Industry Association of Japan for sales of 1,000,000.[6]
