Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena (born 1951) is an Indian MBBS doctor by profession. He ia a Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan and He was an independent MP from Dausa Lok Sabha constituency of the Indian state of Rajasthan. He was in Bharatiya Janata Party, but left it in 2008. And again in 2018 he joined Bhartiya Janta Party .As of 2016 he was a member of National People's Party. He was a cabinet minister and held the portfolio of food and civil supplies. He belongs to the Meena community.

Early life

Meena was born into an agricultural family in 1951 in Khohra Mullah. He did his schooling at a Govt. school. M.B.B.S. Educated at S.P. Medical College, Bikaner, Rajasthan.

Controversy

On 24 December 2017, Meena was arrested along with some of his supporters for attempting to enter a private temple in Sankhwali against the wishes of the community members.[1]
