Kiran C. Patel
Dr. Kiran C. Patel is an American-Indian cardiologist, businessman and philanthropist.[1]
In 2017, he donated more than US$200 million to the Nova Southeastern University making it largest donation ever by a person of Indian descent.[2]
Early life and education
He was born in Zambia to Indian merchant family of Gujarati descent.[1] He completed his education from India and later emigrated to the United States with his wife, a medical doctor.[1] He completed his specialization in cardiology from Columbia University.[1]
