King of the Hill (chess)
King of the Hill is a chess variant in which, in addition to checkmate, a player can also win by moving their king to one of the central four squares. [1][2] (This is analogous to sannin shogi's rule that allows a player to win by legally moving their king to the center.) The king's move to a central square must be legal in ordinary chess, and in particular the king cannot move into check. All other rules of chess apply.
