King David High School (founded as Maimonides High School) is a pluralistic Jewish community high school with comprehensive general and Judaic studies programs.

Facility

King David opened for the 2005-06 school year in its new facility: a modern school, both in terms of design and outfitting. In addition to classrooms it has two science labs, a home economics lab, a music and drama studio, a library, and an art room.

A British Columbia Ministry of Education report recognized the teachers for their commitment to individual support and enrichment.[1] A school counsellor, and post-secondary course and career counsellor, are available.

Information technology

King David offers an information network giving students and staff access to over 60 workstations and a wireless network for laptop computers. This includes:

  • King David e-mail addresses issued for all students and staff.
  • A library with computers for research assignments and communication.
  • Smart Boards.
