Kim Un-guk (Chosŏn'gŭl: 김은국; Korean pronunciation: [kim.ɯm.ɡuk̚]; born 28 October 1988) is a North Korean weightlifter,[2] a Labor Hero and People's Athlete.[3]

He received the gold medal at the Olympic Games 2012 in the Men's 62-kilogram division, setting a world record total of 327 kg (721 lb). Also, at the 2012 Olympic Games in his successful attempt at the snatch, he tied the World Record and set a new Olympic Record of 153 kg (337 lb).[4][5]

Kim is an athlete at the April 25 Sports Club.[6]
