Kibosh is a character in the franchise from Casper the Friendly Ghost. Kibosh is the powerful, evil and feared King of Ghosts. He is a big and muscular green ghost with red eyes. He has great contempt for Casper and his uncles. He is the archenemy of Casper.

History

Casper: A Spirited Beginning

In Casper: A Spirited Beginning, after discovering Casper's absent in the Ghost Central, Kibosh becomes furious about the idea of letting a rookie ghost being let loose without any education and forces his spineless assistant Snivel to find Casper and bring him back. Time after, Kibosh arrives in Deedstown, captures The Trio, and forces Snivel to find Casper. When find him, Casper eats the bomb, which explodes in his stomach, and with Kibosh being impressed with Casper's technique, Casper informs him that the Ghostly Trio taught him how to do it, so Kibosh decides to let Trio stay and haunt, which led to The Trio returning Casper the favor by lying to Kibosh saying that they are Casper's uncles, after Kibosh informs them the importance of family, which allows Casper to stay with his "uncles" and Kibosh to leave them in peace.

Casper's Haunted Christmas

In the film Casper's Haunted Christmas, Kibosh decrees that Casper must scare someone before Christmas Day or he and his uncles will be banished to The Dark for all eternity.

Casper's Scare School

In Casper's Scare School, Kibosh has Casper enrolled into a Scare School. It is revealed that the reason he is so tough on Casper is because he used to be just like him when he was his age. He is also a character in the TV series. In Scare School the pronunciation of his name is changed, from /kɪˈbɒʃ/ ki-BOSH in A Spirited Beginning and Haunted Christmas as well as his first two video game appearances, to /ˈkaɪbɒʃ/ KEYE-bosh.
