Khatārah (Arabic: ختاره‎, Kurdish: Ḧetare‎, alternatively spelled Hatarah) is an abandoned town in northern Iraq. It is located 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of Mosul.^[1]

Khatarah had a mainly Yezidi population.^[2]
