Khaleke Hudson is a defensive back/linebacker for the Michigan Wolverines football team who is playing his sophomore season for the 2017 Michigan Wolverines football team. He shares the NCAA single-game tackles for a loss record (8). As a sophomore, he was a 2017 third team All-Big Ten selection by the coaches.
Early career
Hudson attended McKeesport Area High School in Pennsylvania where he played safety and running back. He was recruited by several top programs as a two-way player.[1] At the time of his January 27, 2016 commitment to Michigan he was the number one rated football prospect in the Pennsylvania statewide class of 2016 according to Scout.com and had offers from Pittsburgh, UCLA and Penn State.[2]

Michigan
Hudson made his debut on September 3, 2016 against Hawaii in the season opener as one of 17 true freshmen to appear in the game.[3] On November 4, 2017 he set the school single-game record (surpassing Larry Foote of the 2001 Wolverines) with 8 tackles for a loss against Minnesota in the Little Brown Jug rivalry game,[4] earning Big Ten Conference Co-Defensive Player of the week.[5] Hudson was recognized as the FWAA/Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week for the effort (15 total tackles, 12 of which were solo, 3 quarterback sacks and a forced fumble),[6] which tied an NCAA single-game and set a Big Ten Conference tackles for a loss record.[7][8] Following the season Hudson, who was second in the conference in tackles for a loss for the season, earned Third team 2017 All-Big Ten team recognition from the coaches.[7][9]
