Khổng Tú Quỳnh (born November 22, 1991 in Ho Chi Minh City) is a Vietnamese pop singer.[1] She is known for being a successful singer in the pop genre with songs like "Strawberry Cake Shop" and "Cold". She has an exclusive contract with 'Newgen Entertainment'.

She is also an advertising model in teen magazines and on television and has acted in several movies.

She was famous Vietnamese singer.

Career

2007-2008: Debut

She used to be teen model, however she had never appeared on big stages. Manager Thao Minh Chau discovered her as she was hosting at a show.

After signing contract with NewGen Entertainment, she showed up in front of 5000 audiences performing the song "Tiem Banh Dau Tay" which instantly impressed them, ever since she was named "Co Be Dau Tay". She became more well known with songs such as Nho Lam, Lanh...Later being called as "Idol of 9x Generation", she was chosen as a face of many brands such as online game Chien Quoc, Fres Perfume, Gummy. She also owned a clothing shop named Kira.

2009: Debut album and acting

August 2009, her debut album Dau Tay's Story was released as gift for anyone who has supported her, attaching a short film.

September 2009, she released online album Try To Up which is the first time she experienced with underground music genre. She also filmed a music video attached in the album. After this album, her style was more grown up to compare with her old style.

At the end of 2009, she starred in Cong Chua Teen va Ngu Ho Tuong along with Hoai Linh.

2010: Duet project and two movies

In 2010, she cooperated with Tim for the song Khong Gioi Han (Limitless) which charted on many music charts since its release, she also starred in two music videos of Tim. After the project, she starred as painter Ky Duyen in the TV drama Mau cua tinh yeu (Color of Love). In June, she released the song Voi Vang and performed it in the final night of Miss Vietnam pageant in Europe. Besides performing, she also got the music video filmed in UK.

At the end of 2010, she starred as Thuong in the movie Thien Su 99, along with Ngo Kien Huy.

2011: Interview with Japanese TV channel and single Dieu Se Den

In May 2011, she had an interview with Japanese TV channel NHK to share her music career story. Single Tim Chon Binh Yen was released afterward and attached with 2 music videos Tim Chon Binh Yen and Da Tung Yeu. She also starred in Ngo Kien Huy's music video.

2012: Album Mai Mai Ben Anh and single Dieu Se Den

Early 2012, she released her next album Mai Mai Ben Anh and a music video attached. After this album, single Dieu Se Den was released, this is a song from Do Phuong which is specially written for her matching "sexy lady" image she was achieving.

At the end of 2012, she and Ngo Kien Huy released single Yeu Em together, along with 2 music videos. They shared that right after the MV was finished, both were sick for 3 days due to soaked wet by man-made rain for the scene.

2013: Single Cam Giac Yeu

Early 2013, she released single Cam Giac Yeu as sharing that she's put lots of effort for the single, since the content was written by herself. Shortly after, she was chosen as backstage host at The Voice Vietnam, as a company with the show and its contestants.

July 2013, the album The G-Invasion was released by her and other artists from singer Dang Khoi's entertainment. She and singers like Thanh Duy, Huong Giang released music video Tinh Yeu Dau Don The.

2014-2015: Comeback single Dung Co Niu Keo and TV show Cung Nhau Toa Sang

August 2014, she departed her agency NewGen and starred as Quynh in the movie Khong Noi Duoc (Unspeakable). After the movie, she signed contract with 6th Sense Entertainment, which is also Dong Nhi's management agency apparently.

In 2015, she released MV Dung Co Niu Keo as a comeback. She joined TV show Cung Nhau Toa Sang as a member of team Tuoi Xanh, as well as starred as Mat Nai in the movie Mat Nai. Later, she spent her time rehearsing for the next comeback.

2017: MV Yeu Khong Duong Lui and MV Yeu Em va Hay Nhu Loi Anh Hua

In May 2017, she and Ngo Kien Huy released MV Yeu Khong Duong Lui together as a 7th anniversary, the MV was filmed in Korea with travel blog style.

August 14th 2017, 2 years after the single "Dung Co Niu Keo", she came back with MV "Yeu em va Hay Nhu Loi Anh Hua" which was composed by Thieu Bao Trang as a special gift. The song was inspired with tropical style along with catchy and happy tune which is about a girl sending her love to a guy, as she hopes for happiness and prays that they will be together forever.
