Kevin Alexander Strohschein (born July 25, 1997) is a leading college baseball outfielder and hitter for Tennessee Technological University in the Ohio Valley Conference.[1][2] He began his career with the school in 2016, putting up a slash line of .393/.447/.707 with 15 home runs and 73 RBI in 55 games. In 2017, he hit .292/.351/.511 with 14 home runs and 60 RBI in 62 games and in 2018, he hit .406/.463/.713 with 18 home runs and 65 RBI in 57 games.[3] Going into 2018, he had been ranked one of the top players to watch in the Ohio Valley Conference.[4]

He also played eight games for the Newport Gulls of the New England Collegiate Baseball League in 2016, hitting .194/.229/.194 with no home runs and two RBI. With the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod League in 2017, he hit .247/.299/.326 with one home run and 11 RBI in 30 games.[3]

He has earned numerous honors, including Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Freshman Player of the Year,[5] 1st Team College Freshman All-American, Ohio Valley Conference All-Conference Team, Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year and Ohio Valley Conference Rookie of the Year. He was a Golden Spikes Award nominee for 2018.[6]
