Kevin Stein

Kevin Stein (born 1954) is a poet and professor of English. He is the director of the creative writing program at Bradley University.[1] He was appointed poet laureate of the American state of Illinois in 2003.[2] He stepped down from the position at the end of 2017.[3]

Awards

Inducted as a Laureate of The Lincoln Academy of Illinois and awarded the Order of Lincoln (the State’s highest honor) by the Governor of Illinois in 2017.[4]
