Kesab Chandra Gogoi was an Indian politician who was the Chief Minister of the state of Assam for two months in 1982.[2] He was member of the Assam Legislative Assembly from Dibrugarh constituency. He died on August 5, 1998.[3] His son Justice Ranjan Gogoi is the current chief justice of the Supreme Court of India.[4]
