Kenneth Boatright (born March 6, 1990) is an American professional gridiron football defensive end for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Southern Illinois. He signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2013.

Early years

During his season year at Bolingbrook High School, he helped the team win the conference championship and reach the second round of the playoffs.[1]

College career

He was selected to the Missouri Valley Preseason All-Conference Team while at Southern Illinois.[2]

Professional career

Seattle Seahawks

On April 27, 2013, he signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent.[3] On August 2, he was waived with a shoulder injury and was placed on the injured reserve list the following day.[4] Boatright was cut on June 16, 2014.[5]

Dallas Cowboys

On August 1, 2014, he was signed as a free agent by the Dallas Cowboys.[6] He was released on August 30 and signed to the practice squad one day later. On December 13, he was promoted to the active roster.

On September 1, 2015, he was waived with a career threatening neck injury by the Cowboys.[7] On the following day, he cleared waivers and was reverted to the team's injured reserve list. He was waived on May 16, 2016.

BC Lions

Boatright signed with the BC Lions on February 21, 2017.[8]
