Kenneth Baxter (October 1927[1] - May 1987), also known by the nickname of "Ken", was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1940s and 1950s. He played at club level for Worsley Boys' Club (in Wigan), and Leigh (Heritage № 559),[2] as a centre, or stand-off/five-eighth, i.e. number 3 or 4, or 6.

Playing career

Ken Baxter made his first-team début for Leigh in the last game of the 1946–47 season, and he played his last match for Leigh against Keighley on Monday 20 August 1956.
