Kaziranga University (KU), officially established as The Assam Kaziranga University, is a Private university[1] located in the city of Jorhat in Assam, India. It was established in 2012 through The Assam Kaziranga University Act, 2012 created under Assam Private Universities Act 2007.[2]

Organisation

The university provides courses in Engineering, Management, Computing Sciences and Basic sciences. It has four constituent institutes:

  • KU School of Business: The regular courses offered are M.B.A., B.B.A., B.B.A. (Global, B.Com and Integrated M.B.A.)
  • KU School of Engineering and Technology. The Courses offered are M.Tech, B.Tech and Integrated M.Tech and Integrated M.B.A. (with B.Tech)
  • KU School of Basic Sciences. Courses offered are M.Sc (Physics), M.Sc (Chemistry), M.Sc (Mathematics) and Integrated M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)
  • KU School of Computing Sciences. Courses offered are M.Sc (I.T.) and Integrated M.Sc (I.T.)
