Kazi Faruque Kader is a Bangladesh Jatiya Party politician and the former Member of Parliament from Nilphamari-3.

Career

Kader was nominated from Nilphamari-3 in 2008 as a candidate of Jatiya Party of the Grand Alliance.[1][2] He was elected to parliament in 2008. He lost the 2014 election to Golam Mostofa, Bangladesh Awami League candidate.[3]

Personal life

Kader's father Kazi Abdul Kader was a former Government Minister of Pakistan. During the Bangladesh Liberation war Azad was a collaborator of Pakistan Army.[4] He was accused of being part of the Kaliganj massacre was committed on 27 April 1971 by Pakistan Army during Bangladesh Liberation war where they killed 300 Bengali refugees fleeing to India.[1][5]
