Kazi Farms Group' is one of the biggest businesses the poultry industry in Bangladesh.[1] Kazi Zahedul Hasan, the Managing Director, was awarded Business Person Of The Year for 2004 in Bangladesh.[2] The Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam son Mujibur Rahman has been accused of trying to grab the land of the farm in Chandanaish upazila, Chittagong district.[3][4] It runs most of its office computers on Linux software.[5]
