Kayani (tribe)

Kiyani (also spelled Kiani) is a tribe found in Pakistan.

Origin

The tribe claims its origin from Kian, Iran. Kiyanis have a Persian descent and moved to several areas of Pakistan. Kayanis are found predominantly in the Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan provinces of Pakistan and several areas of Azad Kashmir territory.
