Gavara

Gavara are one of the many small communities in Andhra Pradesh who live mostly in the north coastal districts.

In common with many other Telugu-speaking communities, the Gavara often use the title Naidu.[1]

Gavara are mostly into the fields of business, self employment and Farming.

They worship Gauri (Wife of Shiva) and her sister deities, hence the name Gavara which Translates to "Children of Gauri".

The gavara are sparsely located in Tamilnadu.
