Kate Drummond is a film, television, theatre, and voice actor; and a film producer, director, and writer. Her 2016 film Go Fish was awarded Best Feature (Narrative) by the Muskoka Independent Film Festival.[1]

Early life

Kate Drummond was born and raised in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada, her father was a police officer and her mum worked at a milk factory.[2] Drummond graduated from St. Patrick's High School[3] with Bachelor degrees in Kinesiology and Education.[4] Kate worked as a full time elementary school teacher in Ottawa for 12 years, acting only in local theatre before leaving teaching to starting her acting career in 2006.[5]

Career

Drummond played a neighbour in a scene with Jacob Tremblay in the 2015 film Room. She wrote and directed the feature film, Go Fish (2016).[4]

She has a leading role as Nikki Bender alongside Brooke Shields in Hallmark Channel's Flower Shop Mystery series, where her character and Shields' are best friends running a flower shop,[6][7] and had a recurring role as Agent Lucado in Wynonna Earp. [8][9] She has also performed voices in several video games.[3]
