Kashmira Singh

Shahzada Kashmira Singh Bahadur [1] (1821 - 7 May 1844) was the sixth son of Ranjit Singh, Maharaja of Sikh Empire.

Kashmira Singh’s mother was Maharani Daya Kaur, but he was said to be the son of a slave girl in the household of Daya Kaur. But he was procured by Daya Kaur and presented to, and accepted by Ranjit Singh as her son.

He was killed in battle against the Sindhanwalias, 7 May 1844.
