Karnatak College Dharwar

Coordinates: 15°27′10.7″N 74°59′52.6″E / 15.452972°N 74.997944°E / 15.452972; 74.997944 Karnatak College of Arts and Science,[1] Dharwar (1917) is one of the leading institutions in Karnataka, India offering B.A., B. Com. and B.Sc. degrees. KCD is the oldest college affiliated to Karnataka University, Dharwar. [2]

History

Originally it belonged to University of Mumbai. G.S. Paramasivaiah was a student of the Nobel-laureate Sir C. V. Raman was the first Principal of the Karnatak Science College, which was initially part of the college.
