Kari Härkönen (born 16 July 1959) is a Finnish former cross country skier who competed during the early 1980s. He won two medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a gold in the 15 km in 1985 and a bronze in the 4 x 10 km (1982, shared with East Germany). He was born in Ristijärvi.

Härkönen also finished 13th in the 15 km event at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo.
