Karate is one of the most popular and practiced martial arts in India.[1]

Because of Its simplicity & incredibly fast application time. Karate was invented with the influence of Chinees Gong Fu but originated from India. [2] Karate is also a defensive martial art & often considered less complex than Kung Fu. This is the reason why it has been widely accepted in most parts of the world including India.

Karate grew in popularity in India in 1970s and 1980s, with many dojos first established in major cities.[3]

The All India Karate Federation is the nationally recognized body for governing karate in India.[4][5][6]
