Kanwal Toor

Kanwal Toor (born 1977) is a Media personality, Bollywood and television actress. She participated in the Femina Miss India contest in 2001 and later went on to represent her country in Miss International 2001. Kanwal is now a successful entrepreneur and a Social Activist. She is the founder of a Charity called CWC (Collective for Women & Children) & runs a successful British jewellery brand called Jadau by Kanwal Toor.

Personal life

Kanwal studied statistical analysis and graduated in Psychology honors from JMC, New Delhi. She went on to do a Masters in Industrial psychology. After completing her masters she worked for investment Banks such as Deutsche Bank & Credit Suisse. She lives in London with her family & is the founder of Jadau by Kanwal Toor, A British jewellery brand.

Acting career

Kanwal started her career in modelling and has worked for various brands, such as Vogue, Pepsi, Mercedes-Benz, LG, Gillette, and Yamaha. She has acted in serials on major channels in India and has also appeared in music videos. She hosted the show Filmi Fever, which aired on Zoom TV. And also hosted the show out & about on Zee TV (Europe). She made her film debut through the critically appraised Bollywood film Cheeni Kum, co-starring alongside Amitabh Bacchan and Tabu.[1]
