History
Kamalanagar College was established in the year 1992. Kamalanagar College was declared as Deficit college on 1 January 2007. Kamalanagar college was recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under 2 (f) and 12 (B) on 30 July 2010. Permanent Affiliation was granted by Mizoram University on 30th July 2009 (No.MZU//CDC/1/19/09/380, dated 30th July 2009). The Government of Mizoram Provincialised Kamalanagar College to purely Government College on 19 September 2013
