Kalyanavarman ruled Kamarupa from the Varman dynasty for the period of 422-426 A.D. He was son of Kamrupi king Balavarman and queen Ratnavati. He married Gandharvavati and had successor to throne named Ganapativarman.[1]

Reign

Some scholars opines that during the tenure of Kalayanavarman, kingdom of Davaka in central Assam was absorded by Kamarupa.
