Kalaranjini is an Indian actress and classical dancer who started her career in the early 1980s. She is the elder sister of actress Urvashi and actress Kalpana. She was a successful heroine of the 1980s and has lately been appearing in Television serials including Daya, Velankanni Mathavu, Devimahatymam, Kumkumappoovu etc.

Personal life

Kalaranjini was born to Theater artists Chavara V.P. Nair and Vijayalakshmi.[2] She has 2 younger sisters Urvashi and Kalpana. Her two brothers Kamal Roy and Prince, died at the age of 17 and 27 respectively. She is a divorcee and has a son, Prince.[3]
