Kahnuwan is a town, development block and sub-tehsil of Gurdaspur district in Punjab, India.[1] [2]
History
Kahnuwan has a special place in [[History of Rajputs ]There are about 15 Hindu Temples situated in this town There was a Rajput king named as "Raja Kanva" and this town was later known by his name.In the previous time there was only Rajput community live in this town but nowadays all the religions have equal value in this town. There are 6 Gurudwaras,3 churches,and 5 Dargahs are situated in this town.[3]
