Kacy & Clayton is a Canadian folk/roots duo originating from the small town Wood Mountain, Saskatchewan.[1] Having played together for over a decade growing up, the duo consists of second cousins Clayton Linthicum on guitar and Kacy Anderson on vocals.[2] In 2016, Kacy & Clayton signed to New West Records and have since released two albums with the label.

They released their sophomore album Strange Country in 2015, which was very well received by the music media community and quickly became critically acclaimed.[3] The album received a Juno Nomination in the category of Contemporary Roots Album of the Year in 2017.[4] The duo released their followup album, The Siren’s Song, in August 2017 via New West Records. Having a fuller sound than their usual stripped-down, minimalist style, this album features Mike Silverman on drums and Shuyler Jansen on bass.[5] After having toured with Wilco for their previous album, The Siren’s Song was produced and recorded by Wilco’s own Jeff Tweedy in his studio The Loft in Chicago.[6] They are currently touring with The Decemberists.
