KRAX radar
The KRAX radar is a NEXRAD Doppler weather radar station located in Clayton, North Carolina. The radar site covers the central North Carolina Area (Raleigh[1]- Durham[2]- Chapel Hill[3]) area. The radar is maintained by[4] NWS Raleigh NC. The radar has a coverage range of 180 miles.[5]
