KMVL, KM2XVL, and K255AR is a synchronous AM radio station, with an FM relay translator, broadcasting an Adult Standards format. The stations are licensed to Madisonville, Huntsville, and Trinity respectively, on 1220 kHz AM and 98.9 MHz FM. KMVL is owned by Leon Hunt and is co-owned with an FM sister, KMVL-FM. The facility commenced broadcasting in 1988. The morning show has been anchored by Paul Wright since 2004, current side kick is Bill Cavill with Becky Neal on occasion joining in.[1][2] KMVL is synchrocast on an experimental License co-channel in Huntsville, Texas, as KM2XVL, which runs 170 watts during the day and 11 watts at night. The Huntsville facility was licensed in 2000, and is located off of Phelps Drive, east of Sam Houston State, and U.S. 190.[3]
