KMSM-FM (103.9 FM) is a radio station licensed to serve Butte, Montana. The station is owned and operated by The Associated Students of Montana Tech. It airs a Variety format.[1]

History

The station was assigned the KMSM-FM call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on January 3, 1973.[2] It originally broadcast on 91.5 MHz, later moving to 95.1 and then 106.9. In August 2003, it moved to 107.1, with another frequency change to 103.9 MHz eight years later.
