The Kuala Lumpur Stadium (Malay: Stadium Kuala Lumpur) or Cheras Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is currently used mostly for football matches. It is the current home stadium of Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia.[2]

Former Malaysian football teams that used the stadium as their home ground are Felda United, PDRM and PLUS FC and Selangor. The stadium has a capacity of 18,000 people. The stadium has been closed since July 2011 due to the City Hall's reluctance to repair the pitch. Starting in 2012, this stadium has been used for Rugby matches. It is used for the first match of the 2013 Media Prima 6 Regions, between Kelab Rakan Muda Malaysia vs Singapore Cricket Club. This stadium is currently under major renovation and expansion. It is expected to open by the end of 2015 with a new 30,000 all-seated capacity.[3]
