KGiSL Institute of Technology (KiTE),[1] is a private engineering college started in 2008 by Padmashri Dr. G. Bakthavathsalam, MS, FICS, FCCP, FAMS, FMMC Founder-Chairman of KG Hospital. It is located at Saravanampatti in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The college has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education , the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and is affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore.
Academics
The college offers five undergraduate courses leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E).

Though college boasts of Industry embedded education, the actual curriculum follows Anna University syllabus. The college has an advantage of shared resources with KGCAS Institution. The students are indeed presented with courses apart from the regular syllabus but with mediocre results.
Facilities
The college has classrooms, laboratories, workshops, library, Internet (24 Mbit/s) connectivity. The college has the modern e-Campus system for the students easy functioning. Teaching staffs are known to be very strict and the college is known to be the strictest in the City. Security personal in the campus are known to behave very rude towards students and visitors.
