KFLO-LP (102.9 FM) is a radio station licensed to serve Jonesboro, Arkansas. The station is owned by American Heritage Media Inc.[1] It airs an Oldies format.[2]

The station was assigned the KFLO-LP call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on January 10, 2003.[3]

Controversy

In May 2004, KFLO-LP made headlines when Saga Communications filed a formal complaint with the FCC that the station was airing "announcements which sound suspiciously like commercials" in violation of the terms of their non-commercial license.[1][4] Saga has asked the Commission to cancel the LPFM's construction permit. In November 2005, American Heritage Media was admonished for "broadcasting advertisements in violation of Section 399B of the Act and Section 73.503(d) of the Commission's rules" but the rest of Saga's complaint was denied and the KFLO-LP license application was granted.[5] In January 1, 2017 they changed format to 60s, 70s, 80s, and some Hits.
