KDK College of Engineering (Marathi: केडीके अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालय) The Karmavir Dadasaheb Kannamwar College of Engineering, situated in the heart of India in Nagpur city, established in 1984 by Backward Class Youth Relief Committee (BCYRC) is one of the leading engineering colleges in Maharashtra State. Government of Maharashtra has conferred ‘A’ Grade on the basis of excellence & adequate infrastructure as well as academic achievements of students and faculty. It is affiliated to RTM Nagpur University and approved by AICTE New Delhi , DTE,Government of Maharashtra. The college successfully continues to attract attention of scholars from all over the subcontinent. The college runs undergraduate program in six branches of Engineering and postgraduate programs in Mechanical Engineering ,Civil Engineering and Master of Business Administration . In addition to these, college has approved research centre for Ph.D in Civil Engineering,Mechanical Engineering with 15 seats each.
Library
Library at KDKCE has one of the richest collection of books, National and International Journals, Magazines. There are over 11000 titles and around 40,000 volumes available for the benefit of the students. In addition to these, the library subscribes to over 35 International Journals and around 60 Journals and Magazines. The library has a built Multimedia facility with a Language lab facility where the students can listen to lectures on over 700 Engineering as well as non-engineering topics, delivered by various experts from institutes like IITs and some foreign universities.
