KBAS-LP (98.3 FM) is a low-power FM radio station broadcasting a country music format.[1] Licensed to Basin, Montana, United States, the station is currently owned by Jefferson County Disaster & Emergency Services.[2]
History
The Federal Communications Commission issued a construction permit for the station on February 13, 2003.[3] The station was assigned the call sign KEME-LP on June 30, 2004. On July 20, 2004, the station changed its call sign to the current KBAS-LP,[4] and was issued its license to cover on July 29, 2005.[5]
